IPA Solution Selling TEAM
Off to Great Start
Under the direction of TEAM Leader
Patrick Morrissey, the IPA Solution Selling
TEAM is making progress. The
TEAM’s objective is to develop deliverables
to benefit the IPA community while
serving as a networking opportunity for
industry leaders to share experiences and
achieve common goals. As part of the
TEAM’s first efforts, the group will:
- Define terms used across companies to
build a common language;
- Build ideal steps of key sale and value
propositions with the goal of teaching
others, achieving discipline, and shaping
IPA member companies; and
- Develop metrics—best practices for
measuring sales success.
New TEAM members welcome! MORE
Industry Tools Promote Standards & Specifications
SWOP and GRACoL Calibration Kits have been replaced by the SWOP G7 Calibration
Kit and the GRACoL G7 Calibration Kit. With new technologies for
measuring color and controlling both the proofing and printing processes, the
industry can finally rely on metric evaluation rather than depending on human evaluation
of color and the likeness of visual appearance. MORE
IDEAlliance 2007 Guidelines & Specifications
For those who have been waiting for the
latest release of SWOP and GRACoL
booklets, the wait is over. IDEAlliance has
released one book—IDEAlliance 2007 Guidelines
& Specifications—that contains:
- SWOP 2007 Specifications (11th Edition);
- GRACol 2007 Guidelines and Specifications
(7th Edition);
- G7 Proof-to-Press Process 2007;
- DISC 2007 Guidelines and Specification
